Non professional degree. If you only have this degree, depending on the State, you may not be allowed to apply for your candidacy for Architectural Registration. MArch: Master Degree in Architecture, professional degree. PhD: As far as I know, there is only one NAAB recognized Architectural program and it is in University of Hawaii Manoa. BArch: Professional 5 year architectural degree
